Pittsburgh, PA – November, 2012 – HDS, the home of ideas, innovation and integrity, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. HDS was founded in 1992 by Howard Schwartz and continues to be one of the largest fully integrated promotional marketing agencies in North America.
To celebrate, HDS flew in their out of town employees to their headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA for a weekend long celebration. On Friday, the entire company gathered to participate in a variety of meetings and team building activities. The evening was capped off with their annual holiday party and anniversary celebration at the Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Pittsburgh.
HDS has grown from a company that started with only 3 employees in 1992 to now employing over 40 full time staff members in its six offices nationwide. HDS is headquartered in Pittsburgh with offices in Phoenix, Kansas City, Utah, Toledo and an overseas factory in China.
Howard Schwartz stated, “I was overwhelmed with emotion as the achievements of the past 20 years really sunk in. 20 years ago a well-respected business man once said to me, ‘You are going to receive a lot of advice from a lot of people, but this is the best advice you will ever get: Surround yourself with the best and you can’t help but to succeed.’ These are the words I have lived by for the last 20 years and the reason why HDS has achieved such great success.
